I apologize for the lack of updates, but 2017 has been a busy year! I started it out finishing up a single I co-wrote and produced with (singer/songwriter) Melody Florez called ‘Cali’; this track came out great, was a lot of fun, and I got to tap my old pal Robbie Altschuler over at Mint Potion studios to help out with the mix.

Released on Provogue records in January was ‘Cut Against The Grain’, the Blues album by British guitarist Aaron Keylock that I had the pleasure of contributing keyboard tracks to last year. Another fun project with producer Fabrizio Grossi, that I highly recommend.

January 2017 also saw the world instrumental premiere of ‘The Legend of Bird Mountain’ by the South Florida Symphony Orchestra! The 23 minute ballet score that I arranged and orchestrated for composer Tom Hormel received four performances in South Florida, on a program with works by Strauss and Korngold that was a great success.

I have spent much of the rest of this year working full time generating more music for Mr. Hormel- including two dozen piano sheet music transcriptions, and forty minutes of brand new orchestral material that will form the basis of a new suite to be released sometime next year.
Speaking of next year, I’m beyond excited to announce that in January 2018, the ballet The Legend of Bird Mountain with choreography by Virginie Mecene will receive its world premiere by the Martha Graham Dance Company of NYC, accompanied by the South Florida Symphony Orchestra! The premiere of this work will happen alongside Copland’s Appalachian Spring, and Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring, in a program entitled: Martha Graham’s Dance of Life.
Right now, getting ready to begin scoring a couple of new animated shorts, working on some studio upgrades, and gearing up for some exciting projects coming together in 2018, so stay tuned.

Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year!!
